Contemporary Minimalist Luxury Landscape Project

Located in Balwyn, Melbourne, this luxury residential landscape project was designed by a renowned Australian landscape designer and complements a home built around the principles of contemporary minimalist architecture.
The residence features expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing and impressive double-height voids, allowing natural light to flood the interior while creating a seamless connection between the indoor living areas and the surrounding landscape. A modern outdoor terrace is equipped with an automated louvre roof system, providing flexibility for year-round outdoor living and entertaining.
The landscape design was carefully developed to complement the architectural character of the home. Retaining walls were finished in a render colour palette that closely matches the external façade, creating a cohesive and harmonious visual appearance. Planting was designed using a combination of low-maintenance groundcovers and carefully selected shrubs, while feature trees were strategically positioned at the entrance, adjacent to key viewing windows, and along both sides of the retaining walls to create depth, structure, and seasonal interest throughout the garden.
